For both smaller and larger vehicles, the state of Michigan allows a window tint film strip for your windshield that covers the top 4 inches of said surface, along with front driver and passenger side windows needing to follow this as well. Those 4 inches can be as dark as you desire, and rear driver and passenger side windows and your rear windshield can be fully covered with dark tinting.

Regarding reflectiveness of your window tint film package, the state of Michigan only allows 35% reflectiveness for your entire package, no matter the size of the vehicle.
